Privacy
FoundryPDF is built so there is almost nothing to have a privacy policy about. Here is the whole story.
Your files never leave your device
The PDF tools run in your browser using JavaScript. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
Accounts and billing
Free tools do not require an account. If you create an account or buy Pro, Better-auth stores a session cookie and an email address, and Stripe handles checkout, payment, and billing portal pages — card details go to Stripe, never to us. We use those services only to authenticate you and manage your subscription.
The AI editor (NanoPDF)
The free tools never send file data anywhere. The AI editor is the one exception: when you choose to run an AI edit, the PDF is sent to the model provider that performs the edit. Files sent for AI processing are used to produce your result and are not used to train models. The page tells you before anything is sent.
Contact and support
If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message and your address long enough to reply and handle the request. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Ads on free tool pages
Free tool guide sections may show AdSense units when an ad client is configured. Ads are kept outside the file-processing UI, and Pro users do not see them.
What the host can see
Like any website, our hosting provider may record standard request logs (such as IP address and the page requested) to serve the site. These logs are not used to identify you and never contain the contents of your files.
Your choices
You can use every core tool without giving us any personal data at all. To delete an account or ask about data we hold, email contact@foundrypdf.com and we will handle it.
Changes
If this ever changes — for example if a future opt-in feature needs a server — we will update this page before that feature ships.
