PDF tools for teachers

Prep classroom handouts without uploading student work or installing another app. Merge worksheets into one packet, turn photos into printable PDFs, shrink resources for the LMS, and number pages before sharing — all in your browser.

Building a classroom packet

Most handouts are assembled from pieces: a worksheet from one file, a reading from another, an answer key that should travel separately. Merging the student-facing pages into one packet, adding page numbers so 'turn to page 4' actually works, and splitting the answer key out into its own file is a five-minute job in the browser — no district software approval needed.

The same pattern covers photocopy prep. Extract just the pages a class needs from a long resource PDF instead of printing the whole document, or rotate a landscape worksheet that scanned sideways before it goes to the copier.

Working around real classroom constraints

School machines are managed, filtered, and shared — which is exactly where browser tools shine. There is nothing to install, nothing to whitelist beyond one website, and no student data touched by a third party: the files are processed on the machine in front of you and nowhere else.

For the LMS, the recurring problem is size. Compressing scanned resources before upload keeps them inside platform limits and makes them faster for students on home connections to download.

Keeping student work private

Student records and graded work carry real confidentiality obligations. Because these tools never upload the file, a packet containing student names or grades can be split, merged, or numbered without the content leaving your device — a meaningfully safer default than mailing it to an online converter. For files that do have to travel by email, a locally-applied password adds a second layer.

Common questions

Can I use this on a school-managed computer?
Yes. Everything runs in the browser — there is nothing to install or get approved, and documents are processed locally rather than sent to an outside server.
How do I keep the answer key out of the student packet?
Split the source PDF first: extract the student pages into one file and the key into another, then number and share only the student version.
Will it work for scanned worksheets?
Yes — rotate sideways scans, delete blank pages, compress oversized scans for the LMS, and merge everything into one printable packet.
